We had lunch with Daddy - burgers and extra-yummy fries. Alex mostly ate the fries and tomatoes off her burger, with cheese of course. She was her usual well-behaved self, smiling shyly at everyone and only spitting out her food when we were watching. Again we got compliments from one of Jeff's co-workers about how good she is when she's out and about. We're very lucky that way, and try to enjoy every second of it just in case she suddenly realizes that she can act all crazy wherever she is. Though I doubt she'll do that too terribly often - we're not ones to let her go crazy without consequences, and that isn't any different when we're not home. Unlike some parents I've seen at the library, mall etc............stinks to be them.
Anyway, she's finally down for a somewhat forced nap. I imagine she has crayon in between her teeth from earlier. Pity it wasn't gold crayon, that would almost make sense on teeth. But no, pink is her flavor of choice. Ok, and a little black. She didn't have a very big lunch.
In litter box news, I've discovered that, as we suspected, the cats no longer use the litter boxes down in the basement but do all their deeds in the one upstairs, regrettably close to my computer. So I brought another litter box up (next to Jeff's computer) in the hope that they'll spread their business around and I can limit my litter scooping to once every other day. Yeah, that'll happen. In the meantime, it's more litter for Alex to play in, and that's always a fun time. For her.
