Alex is wearing her stylish new jeans today. Her old ones were pinching her milk belly, but these new ones had to be cinched in four notches so they wouldn't fall off. They're also rolled up a tiny bit - poor thing is all torso with no legs or waist!!! But she looks fabulous anyway, even with baked bean smears and clementine juice everywhere.
And she's wearing Jeff's old blue sweatshirt. Without the pull string - she had a brawl with it and it was removed before she could strangle herself over the frustration of not being able to pull it out and throw it around her shoulders. I out the extra-pointy hood up earlier, but she ripped it off as soon as it went up. For a baby with lots of hoodies, she sure hates hoods.
It's been an uneventful day for her so far. She ate two clementines, a hot dog, baked beans and a yogurt for lunch, so food wise she's eaten almost her weight already. She assaulted Custard, making him yowl incessantly while she said "dad" to him. Hmmm, wonder what that means? Other than that, and lots of reading, watching snow squalls and pretending to jump, not much to report. Oh, she really likes to pretend to jump. I predict way too much jumping in her future. It goes along with the dancing while waving a burp cloth thing - she might be a cheerleader some day.....*shudder*.
I forgot, the word of the day is push. She's pushing buttons (mostly mine) pushing doors, pushing the new tractor, you name it, she's pushing it. And saying push while she does it, of course. All actions are accompanied by the appropriate verb now.
