We took Alex to the library today to play. She was great the whole time, "sharing" puzzles and books with the other little ones. She ran in circles shrieking when the first kid showed up, dazzling him with her ability to run like the wind.
At the end of our trip, Jeff had just pulled her away from some stuffed animals when she loudly proclaimed something that sounded a lot like (avert your eyes if you dislike profane words) "Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch...." A woman nearby looked in horror as Alex said whatever it was she thought she was saying - I assure you that it was not what it sounded like, because that's a word we don't use in front of her. In any case, she managed to horrify both a complete stranger and her parents simultaneously.
Ok, maybe we were more amused than horrified, but still.....
And we have the letter Y to return to the library puzzle, as it seems to have fallen into her pants and traveled home with us.
