Today's snuggle target was the much-maligned fire tool set. The poker, brush, ash shovel and tongs have been the object of Alex's unending love ever since we decided to take down the dreaded fire cage - the glorified baby gate that wrapped around the fireplace and attached to the wall. That thing cut our living space in half, and was a bbit unsightly to say the least. So we've braved life with an accessible fire place, and the fire tools have paid the price. Sure eoungh, today was no different. Alex tried to touch the fire tools with her teddy bear, perhaps to diffuse any criticism between herself and the bear, but when that didn't work, she dropped the bear and snuggled with the tools, almost knocking them over with her head.

Now we have to work on the "don't snuggle either" command........

I've gotten lucky, and it looks like Alex will actual nap for a reasonable (to me) amount of time, which makes sense since I didn't wake up feeling frazzled today like I did yesterday.

Oh yeah, new words I haven't mentioned include :

cd, teddy bear (that ones she's been working on for a long time - she's probably trying to figure out "It's teddy bear's fault.") and chocolate. Can't think of any more right now. Well, maybe one - Daddy is now Dadoo. :)
