Apparently it's "a good day to go swim in the pool" pronounced poo-uhl. Also a good day to watch tv (no it's not, but nice try kid) and a good day to dig for worms. And to draw on the driveway with chalk. And eat marshmallows. And read the bug book - incidentally, I think Alex may be the only kid I know who likes to read/look at a field guide to insects. She's definitely the only one I know brave enough to pick up some of the bigger bugs. She still talks about the patent leather beetle we found at the playground, only she calls it the leather patent beetle. Just to annoy me, I'm pretty sure.
Anyway, it's a good day to do all the things Alex loves to do the most. How nice for her, and concurrently exhausting for me and even the Gabester. Here's a grainy picture of her reading a book in bed, which it's also a good day for doing.
