Too Obvious?

I'm thinking someone might actually notice this and like it...then again, maybe I should just let the house sell itself.

Pineapple Lilies

I still find it very strange that pineapple lilies only look like pineapples but smell like dill. The purple ones are a lot of fun since their leaves are tinged with the same color. They're a bit lost in the pot with the white ones and (as is in almost every pot we have) oxalis. I'll have to try to separate them and pop them in a pot with the purple oxalis for next year!

I'm happy to report that Alex restrained herself this year and didn't pick a single pineapple lily. She smelled them all and did a little pollination, though. :)

(Side note - I just spell-checked this entry and found that oxalic is a recognized word but oxalis is not. Strange...)

Sandy

Gabe and Alex decided to play in the sandbox this afternoon. Gabe's approach was more feet-on than Alex's, but they both ended up a bit sandy.

Truck

Gabe has a favorite toy, and it's name is Truck. He also has developed the uncanny ability to know when I'm taking a picture of him and *gasp* can look at the camera! Alex, take note. He figured this out about 2 years before you did.
