QotD: "The cow eats pineapple." Uh, ok. Not sure where she gets her information sometimes. I'll blame it on Daddy. :)

Quote of the Day (Yes, she's getting an early start.) : "When I was a little girl I used to ride on the pink swing."

And One More

This is as close as I've gotten to capturing Alex's naughty face. She told me she was "...nice and cozy warm in my blanket." Indeed. The fabulous new sleeper suit helps too.

New Year, New Pictures

Alex has found a renewed love for her music table, and continues to love pulling every single book off her book shelf. Many thanks to Grammy and Grampy for that bookshelf, though. It comes in handy when I need a temporary holding cell for her books.
Mom, you asked for pictures. Here you go. Pork and sauerkraut, complete with hot dogs. Yum.
Oh, and here are the potatoes. I limited myself to one stick of butter this time around. Also yum.

Here's Jeff and Alex suffering needlessly on the couch with their first cold of 2010. Thanks for that Grampy. Cute sleeper suit, though!

Custard also suffering needlessly in some sunbeams in our bedroom. He strained himself just enough to look at the camera. Then he gave up and went back to sleep. Poor thing has such a difficult life. :(

December at a Glance

Alex enjoys her new car, but seems a bit perplexed about how the engine is set up.
Wow, you'd think predatory dinosaurs would be on some sort of no-fly list...

Daddy loves to read Curious George books to Alex. The more she wants to read each book, the better. I really have to find the one where George counts to 100.

Daddy and Alex were enjoying some of Daddy's music when she decided it was time for an insta-nap.

And this is how Alex likes her snow. No snow angels or snow men were made, not even a snow ball. But this is why one of the most important winter lessons we have taught her is not to keep her mittens on, but just to avoid the yellow snow.
