Early Summer in Winter
So our first 70 degree day of the year has arrived unexpected early and I decided to turn the veggie garden. The kids harvested worms and ate a few things they shouldn't have, and got a little sunburn, which they also shouldn't have. Alex's worms were supposedly mating with her help. (Why they needed help is beyond me, but worm mating is surprisingly like shark mating according to Alex. Scary!) Gabe only a few times tried to eat things that were blatantly poisonous, but did get into the horse poop more than I wouold have liked, so we'll be watching for worms of the non-earth variety. I also found my first tick, and was later eaten alive at the playground. Happy Winter-Summer!
Worm!
Yes, Gabe still likes to eat the garden, before it has plants in it. Can't wait to de-worm him later! Um, no pun intended, really.
